The journal of linguistics Kalbotyra focuses on research into various aspects of language studies as well as the ones addressing cross-linguistic issues. It appears annually and regularly. The journal publishes articles, reviews of books and reports of conferences. Proceedings of conferences are also invited.  The contributions are accepted for publication in English, French,  German and Lithuanian and are reviewed by at least two anonymous referees.

This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

The journal has been published since 1958.

Deadline for submission to Kalbotyra 67 is August 1, 2015.
